Where is Stonefest?
Stonefest takes place at UC Refectory and UC Hub, located at the University of Canberra off College Street. Entry to the venue will be via Building 1, (see Site Map for more details).
UC Live acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, the traditional custodians of the lands where Stonefest takes place. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders, past, present and emerging.
What time does Stonefest start?
Doors open at 3:45 pm on Saturday 19 October. Sputnik Sweetheart play at 4:00 pm. They’re great, make sure to see them.
Where can I park?
Parking is available across all of UC campus and is free on Saturdays. A detailed map on where to park can be found here.
Will busses be running?
The closest bus stop to Stonefest is on College Street. Use the Transport Canberra Journey Planner to plan your trip.
How do I get in?
Upon arriving to the venue you will be asked to show a valid form of ID, bag checked and given a wristband. You can find a list of prohibited items here. Please have your ticket out and ready to scan with your phone brightness turned all the way up. Printed tickets are also accepted. We will accept both cash and card for purchasing tickets at the door. There will be no passouts for this event.
Where can I pick up my pre-purchased Stonefest merch?
Merchandise purchased as part of a ticket pack will be available for pickup at the festival merch desk. Easy!
Is there an ATM inside?
Both cash and card will be accepted at Stonefest. There will be no ATMs available.
What’s the toilet sitch?
There are three sets of male/female toilets available inside the venue including two disabled/ gender neutral bathrooms. Refer to the site map for more details.
Free water stations will be available at each bar and at other marked areas of the venue. Refer to the site map for more details.
What should I wear? Is Stonefest an outdoors event?
Both stages are indoors, however you will need to head outside to move between stages and to access the food van. Be sure to pack sunscreen and check the weather forecast before you head out.
Will there be food?
Grease Monkey will be providing food for purchase in the courtyard outside UC Hub. All dietary requirements will be catered for. There will also be light snacks available for purchase from the bar and vending machines. Patrons will not be allowed to bring their own food to Stonefest.

Is the venue accessible?

What can’t I bring in?

Can I smoke at Stonefest?
The University of Canberra is a tobacco-free campus.
Can names on tickets be changed?
Tickets are to be reissued through Moshtix. Your ticket must match your name or it will not be considered valid. Head to Moshtix for more information.
Can I leave and come back in?
No, there will be no passouts for this event.
What if I lose something?
Please look after your personal items. Lost property will be handed to UC Security after the event. Their contact number is 6201 2222.
What if I hurt myself?
Stonefest’s First Aid tent is located at the back of UC Refectory (see Site Map for more details). All event organisers and security personnel are trained in first aid. If you need any assistance please contact one of our friendly staff.
Do you recycle?
Do we ever! Yellow lidded recycling bins will be available within the venue.
Where can I put my bag or jacket?
There will be a cloak room available inside UC Refectory to the right-hand side of the stage. It will cost $5.
Can I charge my phone?
There are no phone charging stations. We recommend you charge your phone before the event or bring a portable phone charger with you.
What if I feel unsafe?
UC Live takes pride in promoting a safe space for all patrons, artists and staff. If at any point you feel unsafe or someone around you is at risk, please approach one of our many friendly security or event staff who will do everything they can to ensure your safety and enjoyment at our festival.
